    Build New Power Systems to Enable a New Energy Framework|DFE Appears at International Digital Energy Expo 2024

    On September 8, the International Digital Energy Expo 2024 (IDEE 2024), supported by the Shenzhen Municipal Government, the China Electricity Council, and the China Energy Research Society, and organized by the Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, was grandly opened at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.

    The IDEE 2024 is themed "Smart and Digital Energy for Tomorrow." DFE participated in the expo, showcasing a full range of products and solutions for source-grid-load-storage integration. The company delivered a keynote speech at the New Power Systems Development Forum held on the afternoon of the 8th and, as a co-author of the "Digital Production in Urban Power Grids: Shenzhen Practices White Paper," jointly released the white paper with 30 other organizations, including the Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau.

    Fang Zhengji, Chairman of DFE, witnessed the release of the "Digital Production in Urban Power Grids: Shenzhen Practices White Paper" alongside relevant personnel from the Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, the China Electricity Council, and the Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau. This white paper was jointly prepared by the Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau and 30 industry, academia, research, and application units. It comprehensively summarizes the overall approach, promotion principles, and practical experiences in the construction of digital production for the Shenzhen power grid. Additionally, it shares a series of results regarding digital equipment configuration standards, aimed at providing higher-level power assurance services for high-quality economic and social development.

    In the keynote speech titled "Digital Empowerment: Supporting the Construction of New Power Systems," Fang Zhengji shared DFE' exploration and practices in digital transformation and the construction of new power systems. As a comprehensive service provider in the green and low-carbon development industry chain and an innovative enterprise in the construction of new power systems, DFE focuses on five key industrial areas: dispatching and cloudification, power transmission and transformation automation, intelligent distribution and utilization, renewable energy and energy storage, as well as integrated energy and virtual power plants. This supports the construction of a new power system that is clean, low-carbon, safe, controllable, flexible, efficient, intelligent, friendly, and open to interaction.

    On the morning of the 9th, Tang Shouquan, Chairman of the Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau, and his delegation visited the DFE booth, focusing on the company’s products and solutions in artificial intelligence, large models, intelligent inspection, automated production lines, energy storage, integrated energy and virtual power plants, as well as dispatching.

    ●Dispatching and cloudification

    DFE presented a new generation of dispatching systems and intelligent dispatching applications based on cloud-native technology at the expo. As a participant in the comprehensive demonstration project of the cloud-edge integrated intelligent dispatching operation platform for China Southern Power Grid, DFE has experienced five generations of technological iterations and upgrades. The company can achieve global monitoring, forecasting, optimization, and analysis of the entire network's source-grid-load-storage resources, continuously supporting intelligent dispatching for the new power systems.

    ●Intelligent inspection

    DFE showcased a full range of intelligent inspection products at the expo, aiding the digital and intelligent upgrade of power operation and maintenance services. Various robots controlled by self-developed AI algorithms conduct comprehensive intelligent inspections at substations for safety production, equipment status monitoring, and fault diagnosis. The coverage rate for equipment type identification exceeds 98%, the overall identification rate is greater than 95%, and the one-click sequential control identification rate is over 99%. The model showcased at the conference, built on Dongfang Dianwen large model framework, enables intelligent knowledge Q&A and voice interaction for users in dispatching, distribution networks, and other areas, thereby enhancing the digital capabilities of power grid teams.

    ●Power distribution

    DFE is one of the earliest specialized manufacturers to enter the field of distribution automation in China. At this expo, the company focuses on showcasing a panoramic solution for digital active distribution networks, offering a full range of products and services from the distribution network cloud master station, 10kV medium and low voltage equipment, to 380V low voltage transparency, supporting the green and intelligent transformation of digital and transparent active distribution networks. The company showcases a digital high-protection environmentally friendly gas-insulated ring main unit, achieving "one space, one terminal, one collection"; also on display is the Power Harmony-based distribution terminal, developed by the company and, the company has been involved in drafting the technical specifications for the China Southern Power Grid.

    ●Power consumption

    Haiyi Software focused on showcasing a new power load management system at this expo, aimed at further unlocking the potential of vast distributed resources and building an ecosystem for load resource sharing. This system provides crucial support to ensure electricity demand for people's livelihoods and key sectors, as well as the integration and consumption of large-scale renewable energy in the context of new power systems.

     ●Energy storage

    DFE is one of the few manufacturers in China with independent intellectual property rights for energy storage 4S. Its energy storage PCS product line is complete and has received specialized testing reports for grid-forming energy storage. At this expo, the company focused on intelligent string-type energy storage technology solutions and showcased the latest developed 215kW string-type PCS. This device was among the first to successfully pass the new national standard type test and CGC certification.

    ●Integrated energy and virtual power plant

    As a leading provider of integrated energy and virtual power plant solutions in China, DFE offers system solutions that include green energy construction, smart energy management, intelligent operations and maintenance, and virtual power plant energy trading. In recent years, the company has undertaken several national key projects and successfully implemented applications in various industrial parks. Currently, its virtual power plant business has achieved practical applications in multiple scenarios, including the State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, power generation groups, energy groups, as well as city-level and park-level implementations.
